Has anyone seen a VC-7D vertical grip for the 7D at a reasonable price?

The ones on EBAY get bid up pretty high!

I've seen some discussion about a third party grip from Dicain. They are based in Korea. They make one for the A100 and I think also for the 5D. I don't know if they have one for the 7D. I can't find an English language site for them and I don't speak or read Korean.

Have you come across this one?

I've been researching and asking questions if its really worth it to go with this third party Dicain/Ownuser grip specifically for the 7D, and came up with some conclusions:

- if you're on a budget, like a student (me) or something
- if you think that the extra, very helpful, and convenient buttons from the original VC-7D is not a big deal for YOUR needs
- if you plan to move on from KM 7D at a later date
- if you dont mind 2 wires looping/sticking out on the left side of the camera and if these are not a hindrance while on handheld operation

then any third-party should be fine

Considering that the VC-7D is discontinued and not a lot of these are floating around the used market, "reasonable" really depends on how much you're willing to pay for a used one. I would think that some are willing (and maybe forced) to pay twice (hopefully not more) the original retail price even if its used.

I have a 7D as well, and I think the VC-7D is the only right choice (as long as its within my budget) but I'm greatly considering this third-party Dicain grip since all those conclusions I came up are very relevant at the moment.
