My new roomie claims to be a photographer so I handed her my 7D with the 28-75mm lens and she went ahead and forced the autofocus ring, i mean this woman doesn't even know that you shouldn't push the focus ring this hard if it resists! I noticed this and told her not to do it but it seems that she is only used to manual focus cameras.

Anyway, I wanted to know where I can find out the details of how minolta AF works, and how to tell if there is any form of minor damage to my lens or my camera. I feel paranoid that the focus ring is slightly loose now.
