Can Iuse my Maxxum 9000 AF lenses with the Maxxum 7D? Any negatives to doing this?

Assuming the lenses are the same as those used on the next i-series and later film maxxums, they should work and function fully- no negatives at all. It wasn't necessary for me to buy any new lenses when I switched from film to digital - I use them on both the 7D and 5D. If you already have a 7D go ahead and try them - they can't do any damage to the camera by themselves.
