Having been pointed in the direction of your very informative site, I have been trying to find some information/reviews for my OH on the Sony A100W. Most searches elsewhere seem to bring up A100s and A100Ks - and I suspect there are differences between all three - and possibly that they have some alternative names which I have missed completely.

Can anyone help me out with this at all?

And is there a review of the A100W on this site, or have I just missed it?

It's the same camera (DSLR-A100, a.k.a., Sony Alpha 100)

The kits have different suffixes, depending on the lens(es) included:

DSLR-A100 (body only)
DSLR-A100H (body + 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 AF lens)
DSLR-A100K (body + 18-70mm f/3.5-5.6 AF lens).
DSLR-A100W (body + 18-70mm f/3.5-5.6 AF lens, 75-300mm f/4.5-5.6 AF lens)

The a100k is the best deal because the 18-70mm is good for what you pay for it. It's a good stop-gap until one can figure out what nice lens they really need.

I for one will push the limits of the kit lens until i find i need something better more frequently (i.e. lots of shots indoors where the 50mm minolta won't do). Otherwise I'll fall in the lens-upgrade trap right to the poor house!
