as for the violin...i would close the ap and go for a long exposure since nothing is moving...

I think the point of the violin photo is to show the effect of a shallow depth of field.

And a very good example it was, too, I think.

i take most of my still pics on the closed end



1:35 20 seconds



even the reflection of a car 5 feet beyond is focused
