Well, there's the Beercan, and I'm a full, dues-paying member in that fan club. But maybe someday, Sony will come up with some good fast lenses that don't require a second mortgage.

Canon and Nikon have 85mm f/1.8 lenses for less than $400! Canon also has a 100mm f/2.0 in the same price range, and Pentax has a 77mm f/1.8 for less than $600.

Sony has the Zeiss 85mm f/1.4, which is great, but at $1,300, it doesn't do me any good.

Agree'd, I would love to have both the 85 1.4 & the 100 2. But like you said about the second mortgage. The 100 2 would be a great indoor sports lens but try finding one.

Maybe if enough people jump ship it would help our wants.

For the last couple of yearsI think you could make more money investing in G lenses then the stock market.
