The subject is constantly moving, sometimes toward me, sometimes away from me, and I'm taking about 200 shots during an 8 minute test.





just like in basketball...i only use manual..the auto can't keep up

In a 60m by 20m ring. That's wider than a basketball court and more than twice as long. And I usually can't get closer than 10m to the ring.

And the autofocus worked fine with all the other competitors.

I do have one advantage over you shooting basketball: I only have one subject. That would make autofocus simpler.
