I would appreiate some help on which camera mode I should use for daytime shooting and also any info on Aperature, shutter speed and iso settings.

A mirror (a.k.a. reflex) lens like that only has one available aperture (f/8 )

You'll also need to use manual focus with it (it's not an Autofocus Lens).

The main thing to watch out for is shutter speed (make sure your ISO speed is high enough to prevent blur for the lighting you're shooting in), as you won't be able to control the aperture.

The shutter speed needed will depend on what you're shooting. If a subject is moving, you may need a faster shutter speed. If shooting a stationary subject, you can get away with a slower shutter speed.

Just keep in mind that this is a very long lens. So, if shutter speeds get too slow in less than optimum lighting, you may need a tripod. The Anti-Shake will help out to a point with blur from camera shake, though.
