i was taking some rapid fire shots and then it froze up and started buzzing..had to pul the battery to get it to stop...



never did that before..battery is full??? weird

hmmm now the shutter buzzes on long exposures...have i not noticed.. or is this new?

i figured out what the buzz wuzz..its the steady shot...now why it got stuck is still a mystery...



can you hearyours(any of you with a 100)buzz on low speeds?

I can hear the buzz too. I think it's normal. I don't think it's normal for it to freeze during burst shooting though. It happened it to me once, and hasn't happened since.

still not sure i like the stabilizer system...sometime i wonder that when it's off does the chip then just bounce around...causing blurred shots...

I get the noise also. It occurs if I forget to turn SSS off when the camera is mounted on a tripod and the exposure time is relatively long.

I've never heard the noise with SSS turned off.
