I just want to know the number of shutter actuations of my camera but don't
know where to find it.

Any idea?

You probably can't. I'm sure Sony has service software that allows them to see it. But, chances are, there is no way for you to find it. If anyone knows different, perhaps they will see this post.

It's best to ask camera specific questions in the forum for the camera you're inquiring about. So, I've moved this thread to our Konica Minolta / Sony Alpha dSLR Forum

As long as you have the camera set to Series for file number sequence in it's setup menus, it should keep incrementing your filenames so you can tell that way (until you reach 99,999 and then it will "roll over" and restart at 00001 again).

So, just look at the image file names (for example, DSC00001.jpg, DSC00002.jpg, etc.)
