Newbie question here. Consider an A700 with TAMRON 17-50 f2.8 lens. Is the A700 capable of focusing between shots when capturing 5 frames / sec? e.g. a dog running towards me. If not, does it simply reduce the frames/sec rate to accommodate the slower focusing?

In continuous AF mode the focusing is made for each image (between frames)...

-> The frame rate then depends on wether the camera is in AF priority (slow-down) or release priority (i.e. keep-up the frame rate)

Thanks NHL

Guess it depends on how fast the dog is running :-)
