Tell her you need better lenses to capture great photos of her when she's riding. :-)

Wow! Those prices are amazing. I sold mine last month for what I considered a stiff price but not as much as the first two in your list. I ran a 'Best Offer' listing. It was over in 4 hours when someone nailed itat the'Buy It Now'of $750. I wonder what I could have got with an open auction ...

I've noticed that, since Sony introduced the A300 and A350 at PMA, prices on used Minolta lenses have increased significantly. Minolta 35/2.0 and 100/2.8 lenses have been selling for over$600, but prior to PMA the same lenses were going for between $400 and $500.

You didn't keep that one very long. Got a replacement in mind?

It was a really nice lens but unfortunately it won't fit my new D300. With the escalating prices of Minolta lens the Nikon counterparts are starting to look reasonable!

#270218716934 - Interesting sales technique. This seller had zero bids at his starting price of $899 so he raised his starting price to $975!

I exchanged some e-mails with this seller. He didn't have a clue what he had. It was originally listed with an opening bid of $0.99! I was looking forward to the bidding war that would break out. When I talked to him about it, he removed and relisted it with the minimum bid of $899. When he did that, two other 100/2.0 lenses that were supposed to end after his, now end before his. So now the bidding is heating up on the other two, and everyone is waiting to see it they can get one of the other two before they'll place a bid on his.
