What do this mean:

Ratio 2:1 on the flash device?

An educated guess at best. I use the Minolta version of this flash it has the same function. As I understand it this function is for using multiple flashes connected with a cable. The ratio control with the highlighted "1" indicates that that,5600 will use 1/3 the light intensity of it's full power.

The highlighted "2" indicates that it will use 2/3 of it's full power.
