Good Morning, Flying Fossil-

The SAL 18-250mm lens is very impressive over all, but it has a few quirks. It does really well when the aperture is at F 5.6 or below. I have begun to ponder if it is worth the $(US) 500.00+. I will keep you posted.

Have a great day.

Bernbeau-

Well done, that is a great photo! I love it! What lens did you use?

Sarah Joyce,

I cheated ... shot was captured w/ Fuji FinePix s7000.

Plastic glass on table-top backlit by natural light from french doors.

Camera lens slightly pointed up resting on lens cap.

Mechanical cable release! (the main reason i keep the s7000 dinasaur)

lol, John B.

ps. pardon my sarcasm, but the incessant debate over which lens/camera/strobe/accessory is the best/newest/fastest drives me NUTS

it is easy to forget that cameras DO NOT take photographs - PHOTOGRAPHERS TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS

finepix 3800 p&s (present value $23.00):
