i want to get some fisheye lens for everyday use, and i came across the sigma

diagonal and the sigma circuar and the 8mm Peleng..

If you're serious about a fisheye, get the Sigma. If you're just curious, get one of the screw-on adapters that are available for ~$50. If you're serious about playing, get the Peleng.

Check out this review:

The things that got my attention are:
  • The Peleng is a manual focus, manual exposure lens. [/*]
  • It doesn't project a full corner-to corner image. The image circle is about 25mm, so the corners are cropped off the image sensor in your A100. (Talk about vignetting!) [/*]
  • It extends significantlyinto the camera body, and might interfere with the operation of the mirror.[/*]

so ive been looking at the 2 different sigma fisheyes, the diagonal and the circualr fisheyes. for the circualr lens, can you take out the circle in the picture or no??

The Sigma 8mm F3.5 EX DG Circular Fisheye produces a circular image about 24mm in diameter (for a 35mm film camera and a full frame dSLR.) The smaller image sensor in your A100 will crop off the top and bottom of the image circle.

The Sigma 4.5mm F2.8 EX DC Circular Fisheye HSM produces a circular image on an APS-C image sensor.

The Sigma 15mm F2.8 EX DG DIAGONAL Fisheye produces a 180° angle of view from corner to opposite corner on a 35mm film camera and a full frame dSLR. On your A100, you would get a reducedangle of view.

The Sigma 10mm F2.8 EX DC Fisheye HSM produces a 180° angle of view from corner to opposite corner on an APS-C image sensor.

so whats the most suitable one for my a-100?? i want to have the sides to be rounded so it seem like theres a circle but i dont want the circle to be there...(if you get what im saying...)

The 8mm will project a round image, but the sensor will crop off the top and bottom. I think that's want you're asking for.
