True, but the primary difference between a Minolta 50mm f/1.7 lens and a Zeiss85mm f/1.4 lens is $1,100. Available light photography is a skill, much like flash photography, that needs to be learned through experience and experimentation, and most people need to start off slowly. I've been doing available light photography for 40 years; I'll let you know when I buy my first Zeiss lens.

Yea as much as I would like CZ lenses I don't think I'll be buying them anytime soon. I don't think they are worth the investment for what I want to do or my skill level.
