I am looking to add a new medium zoom lens to my bag. I want a lens that is reasonably fast [F/2.8], so I have narrowed it down to 4 choices.
I am looking for any opinions that you may have. Thanks.

In no particular order...

Sigma24-70 F2.8 EX DG Macro

Sigma28-70 F2.8 EX DG

TamronSP AF 28-75 F2.8 XR Di LD

MinoltaAF 28-75 F2.8 D

There isn't a dog in the bunch.

I would go with a 28-75, but that's because I already have the 17-50/2.8 for the wide end. If you were still using the kit lens for wide angles, you might want the 24-70 to replace it.
