I have an 18 - 70mm lens and a 28 - 300mm lens. I was wondering if their was a lense that would be wider say 12mm or 14mm - 50mm for the Sony A200 that I can use to do group shots at times when I can't back up. I am going to be do still photos at a TV telethon next month and need a wider lens to get group shots and not sure how far I can back up. The 18mm is ok but might need something wider at times.

I think the closest thing you're going to find is either the Sigma 12-24mm F4.5-5.6 EX DG ASPHERICAL HSM or the Tamron SP AF10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Di-II LD Aspherical (IF).

There are others, like the Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC and the Tamron SP AF11-18mm F/4.5-5.6 Di II LD Aspherical (IF), but nothing that goes out to anywhere near 50mm at the long end.
