Default can't open RAW file with CS3

Hi all . I tried to open the photos on CS3 . The photos took from my A700 but there's a message go on " this file not right document to open " while my nikon D200 can .When I pull all files on computer at the end of my RAW file says AWR while my nikon says NEF on CS3 . I appreciate all your help.

CS3 comes with Camera RAW 4.0. You need version 4.2 or later to open RAW files from the A700. Adobe's Camera Raw 4.6 update is the latest version that will work with CS3.

First, are you using a Macintosh or a Windows PC? Either operating system can open Zip files without an extra program, just by double-clicking on it.

Second, downloading the 4.6 version will update your Camera RAW as far as you can go without upgrading Photoshop, so that's the one you should get. It includes all the updates in prior versions.
