Actually, there are 2 kits. 28-135 and the 18-135. The 18-135 will cover your short end needs I think.

if you can get a kit with the 18-135 and then add the 70-200 that should be fine.

if not, i think just the 18-55 and then the 70-200 should be sufficient. you really won't miss the 55-70 too much

the 70-200mm 2.8L is not the most ideal walk around lens. Kinda big and heavy. So if you can get the 18-135 it would be way better then having to carry around the bigger lens when not shooting sports.

Also the 18-135mm would be an ideal walk around lens also. Wide to medium tele in one.

Well, given A7xx at PMA turns out to be a mockup, I guess there is no Sony APSC alternative for several more months.
