Default Depth of Field preview button - A700 vs 7D

I am finding that another of the advantages of the A700 over the 7D after some months of making the switch is the location of depth of field preview button. Although they are clearly closely located in comparison to each other for reasons I can't explain the A700 button is easier to find when I am shooting - with a little practice I am even able to get at it when shooting vertically with the vertical grip - I was forever hunting for it with the 7D and usually ended up taking the camera away from my eye to get my finger on it .... so far .... score 6 to 1 for the A700. The only thing I liked better on the 7D so far was the flash compensation ring which I used a lot but I have just put that on the 'C' custom button and it is proving almost as handy as having an independent ring. As much as I was impressed with my 7D ... the A700 is proving even more impressive - no buyers remorse at all!
