Default Sony a850 write speed/ what type of memory do you use

I was wondering if anyone knew the write speed of a Sony DSLR a850. What type of memory do you use and how many mb's? Thanks

The A850 will benefit from faster UDMA capable cards (i.e., 300x, 533x, 600x).

With a Sandisk Extreme Pro 600x card, you should be able to capture JPEG Extra Fine images as long as you like at 3fps. Shooting cRAW with that card, you should be able to capture around 28 images at 3fps before the camera slows down to around 2fps with a full buffer.

If you're not shooting lots of bursts in a row using raw, then you may not need a faster card. If you plan on shooting a lot of sports or action in RAW in continuous drive mode, I'd probably go with a 300x or 600x card if budget permits. For example, a Transcend 300x SLC, Transcend 400x, Transcend 600x, Sandisk Extreme (300x), Sandisk Extreme Pro (600x), Lexar Professional 300x or 600x, or Photofast GMonster 533 plus.
