Default Finally, I have found my next camera!

The A580 http://www.dpreview.com/news/1008/10...nya580a560.asp
I really hope it comes to the U.S!
On a side note...I have never even looked through a viewfinder beside my A100. Yesterday I looked through a co-workers D90 viewfinder and WOW. It was leaps and bounds ahead of mine. I took an auto pic and was amazed at how well it looked. The 580 or 560 im sure will blow me away to, hopefully. lol

That new sony sensor is really great. And sony has came up with a very competitive mid level consumer dslr. They will compete will against the canon 60D and the nikon D90 and it's replacement. It really looks like a winner.

And it will just drive competition and we will seem better upgrades from the other guys.

The press release from Sony USA doesn't mention the A580, and SonyStyle.com doesn't list it. Everywhere else, the A580 is featured prominently. I don't think it's coming here, just like the A450 which I'm very interested in.

I will probably be content with the 560, the only difference that I have heard is of course the mp count 16 and 14 (coming from 10 I wouldnt miss the extra 2 from 14-16) and the GPS which I would not miss since I never had it, but pretty sure wil come in handy. Oh well, if I realy want it I'm sure I can find and external solution. Any other differences that I'm not aware of?

Sony did not want to miss out on the holiday selling season. That is a good thing, it will be a good dslr season for buyers, with the pentax, sony, canon, olympus and nikon offerings

I currently shoot with an A300. A lot of people have complained about the smaller viewfinder (due to live view). I never actually noticed it was smaller until I looked through the viewfinder of an A700 at Best Buy. Does anyone know how the viewfinders are on these new cameras?
