Default Satisfied A-500 User

I have now had my A-500 for almost 3 weeks now. I just wanted to post that I am really pleased with the A-500, and how it dovetails so well with my existing lenses and external flash.

Bella-

The attached photo was taken with my A-500 using a used Minolta 80-210mm lens that I purchased for $(US)30.00.

The A500 is an extremely good value for the price. It's on sale at Frys Electronics today for $499 with standard zoom lens.

I'm waiting for the new A-580 as a possible backup for my A-700 as it appears there may not be a replacement coming for it.
The A77 doesn't interest me.

Just waiting for Sony to get the ball rolling.

I found a pretty good deal on craigslist... A Minolta 50 1.7 and a 35-105 with a Maxxum 7000, some filters, all for 90.00. And everything was in really good condition. But no more lens buying for me... but it was just a really good deal, I think. lol.

I really, really love the 50 1.7....

and the a500 is a great camera... Still learning how everything works on it, but so far I really like it.

You got a good deal, Diana-

Now you can focus more on learning the camera. Let me know if there is anything that I can do to help.

Hi there, Diana-

I am really sorry to hear about the sprained wrist. That is no fun at all! Rest up and I will be here to help whenever you are ready.
