Default Thanks clint501 and sony for the A55

Well here i am
Just got my A55 and I must say its a stunning piece of kit. I feel that it was time to ditch the Panasonic superzooms and go SLT, and after only 15 minutes of shooting in low light round the house I'm well pleased with the A55. Super fast focus, great view finder, great swival screen, great low light shooting, stunning video, nice weight and grip size. Can't wait to go out in the snow tomorrow to give it a work out then start looking for a 70-300 zoom lens at a decent price.

You're welcome - happy to assist.

Glad you like the camera ScoobyDude!!

I'll be interested to see some of those 300mm shots.

Might have to wait a little while for the 300 mm. Coming from the FZ100 the A55 is amazing...feels like i can see again looking throught that view finder.

I like it also - much nicer than the FZ's EVF.

Keep posting, guys! I'd love to see more results from this camera. Someone posted a link that points out one of its weaknesses...purple fringing. Is it really that bad? I think most cameras will produce some PF if the condition is right. I'd like to see some high contrast shots when any of you has a chance.
