Default Tamron 70-300 - € 120 - okay!

Smaller, shorter, lighter, macro, focus from 0.95m (instead 1.5m) and noooot 3x price like (nearly same) newer model.

True, but it won't AF on the NEX, and it's not stabilized on the NEX either.

I love mine. Soft wide open from 70-300mm, but arent they all?

I love mine, too. It's a bit clunky and rough, but what do you expect for less than $200CDN? It produces results a lot better than the price might suggest.
