Default Extreme Telephotography

I have this penchant for reaching out as far as possible with my A200. I use 500mm telescopes with 80mm objectives for this purpose. Adding a 1.4x teleconverter increases the lens to 700mm and a two inch 2x Barlow pushes it to 1,000mm. I just acquired an Orion EON scope after reading rave reviews of it's performance. It was $400.00 used but like new. This is really a great scope for those wanting a low cost, telephoto lens. It is fixed at f6 and requires manual focusing but the results can be outstanding. I make my own adapters which adds to the enjoyment. the attached test shot was done at 700mm F.L. at a distance of 35 feet.

Hummmm Streets, another prime example of a pet peeve of mine. 170+ views and not a single comment, good bad or indifferent. It makes me realize how either lazy people are or how self indulgent and self centered viewers are. I find it totally inconsiderate not to say SOMETHING after all it is a forum here.

OK rant over, so here is a comment. I like the photograph myself and the ingenuity you used to make it. Nice job and well exposed. Frank

The original shot and this new one were taken with the 1.4X teleconverter, making the aperture about f8 or a bit more.
