Default Sony Flash Question

Hiya

I have the F58AM flash already, and am wanting to add another wireless flash, has anyone done this with one of the lower model flashes, or do you have to get the 58 again.

Am thinking using the 58 out to the side, and attaching the F20 to the camera (will this work so I can get rid of the pop up flash you need to use to run the wireless?)

Hope this makes sense
Thanks
Claire

I don't think the F20 can be used to trigger the F58AM. The F58AM can be used as a master or slave. The F42AM can be used as a slave only.

You can use the HVL-F20AM as a trigger on the A850 or A900 camera bodies. But, not on any of the other Sony bodies.

yeah I had spotted that one, would the HVL58AM trigger any of the other flashes off camera? Ive searched and searched on the net.

Whats my best bet to trigger 2x flashes, im happy to be wired up (would prefer not to be, but if thats the way it has to be)
