I did not believe it could happen but I came in this afternoon to find my A-550 in a box on the front porch. No notebook or phones but my camera seems to be home safe and sound.

Happy day

Same sensor on both camera, some site took the d7000 apart and the sensor said sony.

If you have sony glass, get the a580 it is a good option.

Pentax also uses a Sony sensor if I remember correctly.

Charged a battery and everything seems to be fine. I do not have any Sony glass but have a huge investment in A-Mount lenses.

The entire situation was quite strange. When I went through my check out over there they were taking anything with a microprocessor with a special emphasis on computers and phones. I thought the guy was going to wet himself when he got his hands on my sat phone and saw the prepaid air time.

They held my camera but let my lenses go through in my bags. I am not going to hold my breath in anticipation of ever seeing my Durabook but that thing was such a slug I almost feel sorry for the guy that gets stuck with it.
