Default A200 with 1,000 mm Telephoto lens.

I took this shot this morning. The air was heavy, temperature 85 degrees. It's still not bad for a $125.00 Russian military surplus 1,000mm f10 reflex lens.

Catadioptric lenses tend to be very sharp and are low in CA. Your moon shot is clear testiment to that.

Default Well done!

Considering the combination, this is exceptional. Reflex lenses are not known for this kind of result.

Most excellent!

Beginning at five o'clock on the terminator and sweeping to the left and up at a 30 degree angle, can you make out what looks like the remnants of three very old, very large craters. The first is largest, the next smaller and the last is the smallest. They have been made almost discernable by more recent violent activity.

Nice shot Streets. If you do not mind could you give a run down of the equipment used and how you are mounting the lens?

Thank you

Great shot, Street! This looks like a shot from NASA.

O.B. Guy, The lens has a standard M42 thread at the rear. A Sony "A" mount to M42 thread mount is easilly found on the popular auction site. There is normally a near focus stop limiting the closest focus to 8 meters. Mine came without the stop and will focus very close to the subject with very narrow depth of field.
