Default Confusion

I have an older model Minolta, Dynax Maxxum 5D, but it is not working. I have several lenses and other accessories that I would like to use on a newer camera body. I've heard that there may by a Sony model that I could use with my lenses without an adaptor. My lenses are an A mount with the red dot to line up the lens with the body. Can anyone give me some info on this please?

Sony currently makes cameras/lenses in two mounts. The a mount and the e mount. The alpha lenses you have will work fine on any of the sony alpha slrs and slts. If you bought a camera with the e mount, you would need an adapter. I hope this makes sense.

Rescued animals are sweet, lovable, and will never forget what you've done for them. I wouldn't trade either of my puppies for anything in the world!! And I truly mean that.
