Good point.

Even if full frame, still an option to use them on a cropped sensor.

And I guess there is even the option to look at used pre-SLT models.

Take care,

I've never been a big fan of used dSLRs. There's way too many moving parts in there, and no way to tell how much use and abuse they've been subjected to. "Refurbished" is as far back as I, personally, would feel comfortable with.

It is definitely something to consider.

For me, if the price is low enough I do buy used dSLR cameras.

If less than $150 or so, I take a gamble, especially if I can get my hands on it before deciding to buy it.

Or, if I can get it from our local camera store which offers a 90 day warranty. Henrys.ca

If I were to buy an older Sony pre-SLT dSLR, I'd get it from them.

I see used Sony dSLR cameras go through their eBay account every so often.

Definitely a cost effective way to continue using older A lenses.

Take care,

In the US, KEH is a good source of used photo gear and they have a 180 day warranty.
