Big price difference so which is it: the Tamron 28-300 XR DI LD IF or the Sigma 28-300?

Any thought and pictures?

 Sure you wouldn't rather have the 18-200 Tamron or Sigma? They are pretty much the same price and give you wide to tele zoom. Remember the 7D has a 1.5x factor for35mm lenses.

In reality 18-300 would be great. I was thinking of rolling the dice on the Phoenix 18-300.

If I went with the 28-300, I was going to use my rebate check on a super wide angle Minolta lense so that it would not go to waste.

Do you know anything about the Phoenix?

Sorry should have been 28-300, Phoenix.
