I just got my 5D today and have a couple of questions about the image settings.

The salesman, who has a 7D recommended using the 3MP image size on superfine quality.

1. Is there any degredation of quality in using the 3MP size?

2. Is there much difference between the fine and superfine settings?

I just want an idea of the best setting for general (probably mostly landscape) photography before I go on holiday on wednesday, so that I can figure out how many images that I can fit on the card.

ALWAYS, i repeat, ALWAYS use the maximum image quality(resolution) possible!

If necessary, purchase more 'film' (CF cards)
