This seems like a decent, light weight, walking around lens for nature photography. Prices haven't gone up like they have with some of the other used Minolta lens. If anybody here owns (or owned) this lens, let me know what you think of it. Thanks.

You will find two reviews of the lens at this website:

The website is really good because it lists every available Minolta lens, and has reviews of many of them. Like you, I am enjoying my KM 5D. Here is a sample photo from the Tamron 28-200mm lens that I purchased on e-bay for $60.
