a 1.3 second handheld exposure has to be a record for me. a computer monitor to her right and faint light from another room to Raggedy Anne's left. I love twilight, but will take whatever comes.

Lost the white type on black background in the caption above so you can't read it without highlighting it? This brown ought to look great on black. Anyway, the photo above is a 1.3 second hand held exposure. A record for me at that sharpness and with the kit lens to boot.

Cool...

I think the longest usable shutter time I've got with my 5D so far is 1/2 second. That one was really taken by accident.

I squeezed and held the shutter button, thinking that it was taking a long time before I heard the mirror drop again so I could release the shutter button (I don't like to move until I hear it finish). When I checked the exposure it was 1/2 second (but it sure seemed a lot longer).

I've got quite a few at 1/4 to 1/5 second. But, I think I'd need to practice some to pull off a 1.3 second shot, and I'd need a bit of luck mixed in, too. ;-)
