Look around for something better. Anti-shake works on every lens you use. The stabilization is in the body.:?

yeah but if there is no lens recognized as being attached.... would it work???

well i did something i shoulda done earlier, which is look at the gauge, and it moves as i move the camera, so im assuming it works.

On the subject of buying body/lens combos on Ebay, I have noticed lately more sellers are selling Sigma lenses in the kit which are unlikely to work on a 5d/7d. I just thought I'd post a heads-up.
