Hi,

I had a 7D with firmware 1.10 But the download speed is only 1.1Mbyte per sec.

It should be 3. My OS is WinXP.:? Anybody got the same problem ?

Thank you.

it's probably you're USB speed. I have the 5D which I think is only USB 1.1, but my PC has USB 1.1 so its ok. the 7D should be able to download at USB 2.0 speeds which I think is aorund 10 mbits/sec, however you need a computer with a USB 2.0 controller. Go see what hardware you have on your computer and it should tell you.

The camera is slower than a card reader, that just a fact.

other thread

"That comes to roughly 900 KB/s vs 3.3 MB/s" (comparing my 5d to my card reader)

Thank You Guys,

My computer has a USB2.0 . It shown ~6M byte/s when using USB flash Ram.

May be that's all about the camera. But in Dpreview they test it is ~3.3M byte /s in 7D with firmware 1.10 I don't like pull and push the CF too much. So card reader will not be a solution for me. Can anyone make it close to 3M byte/s ??
