There is certainly nothing wrong with those shots. I would say your flash and 7D are in sync.

Yup, those look right on, but I am getting the same results with my non-dedicated Sunpak 433D. What I would like though are 1. the wireless remote function, and 2. the HSS function for things like outdoor fill-in flash. That I find hard to control with a non-dedicated flash.

I just ordered 3600HS from PartStore ($179) brand new...The sales person told me that they have plenty in stok.

Here is the link:

http://www.partstore.com/ProductDeta...700&s=cnet

They have also 5600HS in stock for $339 (brand new)...see link:

http://www.partstore.com/ProductDeta...oductType=PART

I think those are good prices considering that those flashes are very hard to find...

Cheers,

Yes, thanks for the tip. That's the lowest I have seen in a while.

You will be pressing your luck buying from PartStore by looking at user reviews of that store from various websites. Of course, they are located in New York, NY. Here are some user reviews for PartStore:

http://www.resellerratings.com/seller10531.html

http://www.pricerunner.com/retailer/20881/reviews

Go to their website, they sellsparts. Why would they haveboth the Konica Minolta 5600HS and 3600HS flashes in stockin the first placeand especially at this point when they are sold out everywhere except eBay where they are being sold for a premium price? Just doesn't make sense for a "parts" store.

If it's sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Do you feel lucky?

I agree.... they have been running that price on the 5600 for awhile. If everyone could get the 5600 for 339 the word would have gotten out by now and they wouldn't be getting 4-5 hundred for them on EBAY.

You are right guys...they just called me and they were sorry to inform me that even though sales person assured me that the 3600HS was in stock ....now it is no longer available and they admited that they have mess in their system...

Well at least I felt lucky for 24 hours....:-)

I don't understand what they gained by doing that. Usually dealers or should I say stealers like that take an order for a camera and call you back with a bait and switch or try to sell you expensive accessories and if you don't buy thay tell you the camera is out of stock. What could they possibly gain by taking an order for a flash and end up selling nothing. Unless of course they attempted to sell you another flash.

Who knows, you may luck out like I did when JimC posted that B&H go some in for 299 a couple of weeks ago. Sony should also be putting something out soon too and I have a feeling it will work with the KMs.
