I use the Tamron 35-105mm f/2.8 more (when I feel like lugging it around instead of my Minolta 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5).

Here's one from a cloudy morning. Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D, Tamron SP 35-105mm f/2.8 AF Lens:

Looks likelike a nice lens. Don't even see a review on Dyxum.com for it and none on EBay. Must be a rare one.

They're relatively common and you can usually find 'em for less than you can lenses that start out wider.

Zoom Lenses starting out at 35mm aren't as popular on DSLR models.

This Tamron was voted "Lens of the Year" for 1992/1993 by EISA:

I was just going by the fact that there are none on EBay or KEH.
