I got some great shots but they have these vertical lines that are noticeable in the water.
Anyone else experience this? I was shooting in portrait orientation panning right and maybe 30 shots or so. Thanks for any ideas. Mike.

There is nothing wrong. The vertical lines are just reflections and the play of light and shade from the skies and clouds above.

Waves move, so the panorama feature can't position them together seamlessly. The vertical lines are just the seams where the waves don't match up from shot to shot.

The clouds also move constantly like the waves so why there are no vertical lines in the sky as well?
or is the movement of the waves much faster than the clouds? |

The movement of the waves is much more significant in that it is closer. Notice that the seams are much more significant in the foreground than they are in the background. The waves in the background are moving just as fast as they are in the foreground, but the movement is greater with respect to the perspective. The clouds are probably moving faster than the waves, but they are much farther away.
