Thanks JJ, figured to post a few here for potential buyers of the Nex-7...great cam but AF is slow, inaccurate, and at times non-existent...other than that it does fairly well...handling is great and lotsa features...

The NEX-7 really does offer great image quality!

Nice shots!
I am one who is seriously taking a hard look at moving into the NEX system as my APS-C system. I have a question about the lens size with the 18-200 that your using, is it much smaller then the A-mount version? I like the super-zooms for their convenience but with the NEX system size will be the more important convenience options. Have you tried shooting moving objects?

Size is my reason for owning the Nex System as well...the only comparision shots I have for size is the Tamron 18-200 compared to Sony E-Mount 18-200: http://www.flickr.com/photos/4675634...in/photostream And the Nex-7 with Tamron 18-200 fits in the Ripoffs BL-179 EP Holster on the hip.... http://www.flickr.com/photos/4675634...7628803206447/ |
