Tunnels are a waste of time, IMO. I think the manufacturers producing EVIL cameras are having a blast because all of a sudden, they can sell all sorts of new stuff, from lenses to flash units, to tunnels to viewfinders. They keep making the bodies smaller and smaller by doing things like no EVF or no BI flash. Then they charge extra (and quite a bit extra BTW) for a piece of glass (tunnel), or an EVF or a flash unit. At least I believe Sony is including the standalone flash with the package as opposed to what Oly did with the EP1/EP2.

The flash look tiny and not that powerful. It looks to be just a removable point and shoot flash, I know that I would most likely misplace it.

I would totally expect that. Like Tullio, it is a much larger sensor. It have no problems at 3200iso.

Yup, it comes down to the right tool for the right job. 8x10 is no problem for a 4/3 format
