Default Sony nex 5 screen

Was on hols this year, and suddenly my screen has gone weird (pic attached). I've never had a protector on it or anything, although it does look as though Sony put a thick one on (very sticky as I can pull up the bottom left corner). However where do I get the correct replacement for this as I don't think it's a protector but a top layer of the screen, or what can I do to improve/remedy this?

Disappointed

Look there:

Simplest solution: remove screen cover and buy a glass cover for less than $4.
Better than sending to Sony, waiting for weeks or paying 150-200$ for "repair" if no warranty.

PS: on my Sony TX7 vanished all "over night"

Thanks, really odd as it seemed to happen overnight... Hope it cures itself, but the glass cover does seem a good idea, pain to clean that screen
