People seem to have had similar problems with the Q, but with familiarity (and firmware upgrades) seem to have been able to work around many of them. While the Nex system has had some shortcomings, I would hope that Sony has had too much experience with this successful system to screw up that badly, even in their attempts to simplify operation. Since because of lackluster sales, Sony has decided to abandon its SLR and translucent mirror systems in favor of ILC's, watch for future firmware upgrades.
