If I use a polarizing filter and the camera and the wide-angle lens adapter, will it vignett? The camera is a Sony DSC-R1 and the .8 Sony wide-angle lens.

Normally, I would attach a filter to the wide-angle lens, but Sony is recommending that I put the filter and then attach the wide-angle adapter lens.

Any comments or suggestions?

Do we even need the wide-angle adapter? We take pictures of waterfalls and get up close and personal.

Thanks,
Roberta

Can you even do that with the add-on lens adapter?

As for whether you need a wide angle adapter... Only you can answer that. 24mm is pretty wide, but if you want to get really close and still get everything in, then you may need the WA adapter. But I would guess you would also get some perspective distortion.
