Default Sony DSC-P51 or Sony DSC-P50???

Can anybody help me with a quick answer....

Which one of these camaras should IŽd chose, the price is the same???

Get the P-50 it has a 3x optical compared to a 2x and it also takes the sony lith. battery or AA's

I disagree. I've used the P-50, and it's autofocus/shutter lag time is BAD (image quality is questionable too). The P 51 is updated, and probably works quite a bit better. (At least the P-71 has less lag).

EDIT: Also, regarding the batteries, who cares? NIMH batteries are dirt cheap compared to Sony's proprietary ones, and I think the P-51 even comes with a set and a charger.

Default DSC-P51

I have the DSC-P51 and so far its da best i had the 10 cameras so far and i had to return then cuz they wernt as the qualit i experted them to be one of them was the *50* and it sux Big deal wit the 3xzoom..

the 51 much better 2x zoom Newer model than the 50, 51 was out march 2002 and the other one early 2001
