I think the pictures are stunning. I had the same experience earlier this year and I think yours turned out better than mine. Here are mine : http://www.fototime.com/inv/823DB5A071A621D

Anyways, you are proving to me that the R1 can overcome a low light situation and provide elegant photos. Thanks Nicholas.

God Bless - Greg

Oh, Nicholas ... these are just beautiful! I doubt I will get to see the Nutcracker this year, so they were a double treat for me. Thanks so much for sharing them. Ria

Nice shots Nicholas. Two of my Granddaughters have been dancing in the Nutcracker for several years. Here's a link to some of my shots if your interested. http://dsr1.zoto.com/galleries

Hi Don and All,

Your Nutcracker shots are fantastic. Your mouse is better than mine. Ha.

Your mid air capture is great. I added you to my favorites so i can look at them when I have time later on.

I appreciate the compliment Nicholas. I bought the V-LUX 1 just forit's low light capabilities.

Nice shots! Did you take them with a tripod?

Hi,

No tripod. I did have my monopod with me but to use it I would have blocked the vision of people sitting in back of me.

Glad you likethe pics.

Not bad considering you didn't use your monopod and shot the pics with your camera handheld. :-)
