I just purchased the H5 yesterday. When I scroll though thepictures I've already taken on the LCD screen, they are blurry and out of focus when they first appear. After a second or two the image clears up and appears in focus. Is this normal?

Also, on myold Canon camera, I used to be able to view small thumbnails of mulitple pictures I'd take on the LCD. It would display 9 small thumbnails at a time. Is there a way to do this on the Sony?

Yes, the camera first rapidly displays the low-res thumbnail image and then reads in and displays the full high-res image, this is normal. You can see what the H5 does in playback mode by looking at our review here:

When viewing images in play mode just hit the "W"ideangle zoom button to display the multi thumbnail image pages.

Do all high-zoom digitals do this or is it something exclusive to the H5? I have to admit, I don't like it.
