Default Sony DSC-V1 Pop-up Flash Problem

Hello,

I have just got my new Sony DSC-V1 camera and I notice once the pop-up flash is activated, it does not seem to close itself down even when it's powered off. Is this the normal way how this camera operates?? I am quite disappointed that it does not shut itself or is this a defect to the camera?

Hope someone can offer me some help as I only have a few more days to take it back for an exchange or refund if it's a faulty one.

Many thanks.

Eric

You have to push the flash down with your finger to close.
